Dear Family,

As I was leaving Dad's house today, I told him I felt like the Roggenkamp ambassador, having visited all 3 family members in the span of 1.5 weeks. He suggested I be the Roggenkamp Secretary of State. I like it.

I picked Dad up from the hospital last night after the biopsy. He was in high spirits, joking and flirting with the nurses. Now we just wait to hear the results, which could be in by Friday. Once home, we cooked a light soup, consumed libations and talked the rest of the night, before Dad tottled off into his 'bed of pain.' I left close to noon and am now safely back in Philly. Have been on the computer ever since getting back! So much going on.

I wanted to post some pictures from LA and with some outline of the times JP and I spent together! I have posted a sneak preview for now!

There is one picture of the forest we walked through next to Santa Anita Creek to get to the waterfall, a beautiful spot along the path, and JP at Venice Beach.
